Herbert Eberhart

Ph.D.

Herbert Eberhart is a social worker and clinical psychologist. He is co-founder of the European Foundation of Interdisciplinary Studies, the former funding body of the European Graduate School EGS. He founded the post-graduate studies course 'Supervision und Coaching als Kunst' and was for many years its director. Herbert Eberhart worked for 25 years as a Senior Professor at 'Zurich School of Social Work' and teaches in several instituts of higher education. He introduced the Solution Focused approach in therapy and counseling in Switzerland and is co-author of two well-known books about counseling und the art-oriented decentering work. His newest books are: Lösungskunst with Paolo J. Knill and "Presence and Process in expressive arts work" with Sally Atkins. Herbert Eberhart is active in private practice as a supervisor, coach and short-time therapist.
